To A Wild Rose- Google Search

Uggg I am having a tough time finding a voice recording of To A Wild Rose. I have searched on youtube and now I am trying google..... YAY the audio is crappy but it is something. I have to talk to Mr. Phil about what the tempo is going to be, because in this recording they are going rather slowly. It sounds pretty but really slow. It is also a Student and they have not put there name so I can't give you anything with that. Uggg this stupid song is challenging me... I like it!!!

Being in the music building a lot more has definitely made me want to do music just that much more. I am a little nervous about my studio recital tomorrow, however I feel I know my piece inside and out and I am ready to rock it out. I also realized that this will be the first time some members of the studio will be hearing my voice. I am sooo ready!!!!

Week of 2/6/12

Ok so these past few weeks have been going great. The "B" section in "Se tu m'ami, se tu sospiri" is going good. The weekend I really listened to the recording and before I was having problems with measures 35-46 now it is just 43-46. Also, I was thinking about changing where I breathe in this piece because breathing right between the phrase " sol per me, gentil pastor" just doesn't seem right. Anywho, Orpheus with his lute is going really well, you will definitely see a change when I come to my lesson on Thursday. I found a recording of the accompaniment online, it is a little fast but it is helping me with learning the words as well as the recording of Cecilla Bartoli with my italian piece. I am still unsure of when to practice and yesterday during chorale my voice got very fatigued. I was wondering how i can stop that from happening so quickly during the day because singing wise all I did yesterday was chorale and a 30 minute practice session.
